- Where is your office located? Maia's office is located at 41 Watchung Plaza, Suite 30 Montclair, New Jersey 07043.
- How do I make an appointment? To make an appointment, please text: 917-446-5137 or email: maiastonelcsw@gmail.com.
- What are your hours? Maia offers virtual or in-person weekday appointments only.
- What are my payment options? Payments are private pay with check, Zelle, or Venmo.
- Do you accept my insurance plan? Maia is not on any insurance panels, though if your Health Care Provider offers out-of-network benefits a portion or all of your insurance company's allowed amount will be covered by your Health Care Provider. Please check with your Health Care Provider to determine your benefits package. After your session, an invoice will be provided to you for submission to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.
- Who are your patients? Maia's clients are children, adolescents, and adults, many of whom have anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive tendencies, ASD or other mental health issues that are impacting their relationships and overall quality of life at home, work, school, or in programs. Many of Maia's clients are managing symptoms associated with trauma.
- What sets you apart from all the other mental health providers? Establishing methods of communication varies with each client, but Maia understands the value of taking the time to get to know each person, their nuanced strengths and struggles, and the goals they have for their personal success. For clients on the autism spectrum, it can be difficult to find mental health practitioners who are not only experienced with but truly committed to the well-being of people on the autism spectrum.
- New or novel situations can cause my family member to have behavioral issues or severe anxiety. Can this tendency be helped? Please feel free to tell Maia about your, or your family member's, specific needs when you contact Maia to make your appointment; She will do her best to be accommodating.
